A bulk cement truck operates mainly via air pressure. Its air compressor, driven by the vehicle’s engine (via a power take-off), sends compressed air into the air chamber under the sealed tank, fluidizing the cement (suspending it like a liquid). When tank pressure reaches 0.18-0.22 MPa, the discharge valve opens, and cement is pushed out through pipes via pressure difference.
Key components collaborate: the power system (engine + PTO) powers the compressor; the control system monitors pressure and material status; a safety valve releases pressure if it exceeds 0.22 MPa. For unloading, park the truck, open the discharge port, lower the hopper to load cement, and the hopper rises with an alarm when full. It serves construction sites and cement plants, with a single transport capacity up to 38 m³ for efficient, continuous delivery.
